Very high speed integrated circuit  (VHSIC)

VHDL is an high level description language - covered by a well consolidated standard - through which it is possible to describe the functionalities of an electronic system both in a structural or behavioral way. Its use in the design of digital integrated circuits (custom or programmable) is fundamental , so the Studio Progettazioni Elettroniche offers its competences for:

  • existent digital electronic circuits from a "schematic" description to a "functional" VHDL description
  • VHDL description verification and simulation
  • VHDL testbench design
  • custom IP macrocell design

The design flow is done on FpgaAdvantage and Modelsim platforms.
